Artist's commentary
kirlia part 1
she finds it unbelievable you'd distract her with some crazy new workout idea you had.
i just also wanted to use this post as an update on where things stand. i apologize for the recent drop in productivity i've had. and in further apologies for the trauma dumping, in truth, i realized i've been hit by a particular feeling of burnout that has been utterly dragging me down whenever i want to draw anything. i don't know how obvious it is to my audience, but i feel it is quite clear where the majority of my inspirations/referencing comes from in terms of the direction i wanted my art style to move towards. however, i took this to an unhealthy degree where i often found myself completely frozen not sure how to handle things without having some reference derived from said artist's style i wished to approach. in actuality, most of my 'natural' drawing habits from years back were quashed in order to try to mimic someone else (not very successfully by my metric). i realized that i might need to just let go of trying to force myself into something i just cannot achieve. i don't really know how exactly that will manifest, it is just that i realized something has to change. i hope my audience can understand
