That's what media assets are for. No one's forcing you to post low quality content to the post index.
True, I only do that because I once saw a feedback on thelieutenant that if he was gonna archive art that wasn't gonna be approved, he should just send it to queue but I'll take your advice
idk man, I also remember seeing former-approver Farm voluntarily upload post #8186570 and post #8848328 into the queue while presumably knowing they won't be approved despite being in media assets. What's the stance on uploading images that you know won't be approved so you send them to the queue instead? bruh, I'm confused as fuck
thelieutenant got considerably regularly flagged for posting low quality content straight to active status: in November 2025 he got 1-3 posts flagged nearly every other day, which is what the feedback is for. Media assets are good enough if you just care about the picture being archived, it doesn't have to be posted.
It's one post so it won't burn a house down, there's been several feature requests regarding posting straight to deleted status, but it shouldn't become a habit. In other words: the first response you got in topic #35384 to open a continued discussion about it.
