Tag: fairy_(jintai)_(cosplay)

Posted under General

I took the liberty to add both fairy_(jintai) and fairy_(jintai)_(cosplay) to all images depicting characters from other popular shows in their fairyfied versions.

Still, a few questions remain:
1) Is the title chosen for the tag alright or is there a more fitting term?
2) Should fairy_(jintai) always be included when someone adds the new tag?
3) Should it be classified as a character tag or stay as a normal tag?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

one reason of the existence of the *_(style) modifier is to give proper credit to the artist's style and not to be too specific to a single character.

EDIT: the situation appears to be similar to touhou characters made into ponies. /mlp touhou show that most are tagged as parody and animalization.

EDIT2: let me correct myself, i apologize, maybe parody jinrui_wa_suitai_shimashita should be enough to cover them? or do we have a tag for characters morphed into (legendary) creatures that are not animals?

i'll attempt to answer my own question after bumping into post #1321007 and post #1349289; and the fusion tag seems the closest solution.

I think style_parody jinrui_wa_suitai_shimashita would cover it better.

regarding style_parody, my idea is something like these post #851738 post #1082118

so for jintai imho, post #1351723 fits for style_parody but not these: post #1315335 post #1303011 post #1231093 post #1252437 among others.

post #1231698 for example still much have the ambiance of sayonara_zetsubou_sensei. contrast this against post #1351723 . the 'fairies' there don't look like anything near fairy_(jintai). no pointy_ears, etc. maybe chibi would be applicable.

uhm, i don't know, maybe i've too restrictive standard when using style_parody or misinterpreted its definition. i'm curious what others feel about it.

btw, style_parody implicates parody.
