2 PAGES of deletions...

Everything is sourced & tagged right.

IS IT BECAUSE IT'S NOT TOUHOU?

First, I'm not a Mod/Janitor so everything I say here is just my guesses, nothing more. I'm not even sure if regular users are allowed to try to give any feedback here but I just felt like it.

I've looked at fist 2 pages of your deleted uploads and honestly they are mostly mediocre. Many of them have relatively low image quality (lowres, jpeg artifacts or close to it, e.g. post #1048871) which is never a good thing. The problem may also be related to the faces, I don't like how some(examples: post #1049098, post #1049102, post #1049053, post #1048926) of them are drawn, not sure if there's a real problem or if it's just me, though.
And for me pretty much all of them lack something special, like being nicely drawn, funny or showing interesting situation/concept, something that could elevate them from being just meh. The fact that I'm not a fan of depicted copyrights (virtua fighter, tekken, etc) didn't help either.

Out of the images I checked I only liked post #1049072, it's somewhat sketchy, but looks nice otherwise.

And I can say with some degree of certainty that them not being touhou is a nonissue. It may even be contrary to your assumption because as far as I know some Janitors are more strict when it comes to touhou art simply because there are so much of it.

I and at least one or two other mods mostly ignore Touhou entirely since it's so prolific and likely to get in, so that's not the issue here.

Unfortunately for these strips, I and at least one or two other mods also mostly ignore comics and manga/doujin pages, especially when done in a sketchy, webcomicy, and relatively unartistic way. They border on being off-topic, even if they aren't explicitly banned, and the art almost never stands up on its own.

Hi, firstly sorry to the three janitors I wrote per mail. I didn't know there was a forum thread.

Most of my posts were approved. That's really good. There are just two pics I don't know why they were not approved. Attention, it's pokemon hentai. If you hate that, you should not watch it:

post #1048189 - maybe because it's hard translated? But if the original is found, this one could be deleted. Until then it could stay.

post #1048181 - from the same artist, but just 1 point so it's fine it was not approved.

My other posts are not important. They have not a score of more than 5. I just ask for these two. Oh, and I'm not a native english speaker. I hope you know what I mean!

I passed those over because of two reasons:

1. The hard translation that we have no way to verify if it's even accurate at all.
2. More importantly, the obvious photoshopped decensor.

Decensored, really? You have good eyes... Now I can understand your decision a bit better. But not one of his images was censored. That would mean all are decensored? Are you sure?

Too bad nobody has the originals. Is there a possibility to find them, is there a searching program or something else?

EDIT: Mh... Seems not...

These uploads have not been approved after three days and I fear they may be deleted (which would be disastrous for my account), but AFAIK there's nothing wrong with them. Any particular reason for this, or did they just slip through the cracks?

My apologies if this isn't the correct thread to ask this in, but I wasn't sure if I should start a new one for something like this and I didn't want to clog up the appeals thread for deletions that haven't even happened yet, so this came the closest to where I am.

Having a big "Sample" watermark is probably enough to gather negative points from most mods. Mechs are also sometimes a hard sell.

Hard to believe as a bunch of other 'samples' would improve. But does this mean if I found non-samples and uploaded them that they'd have a better chance of being approved?
