I know that there was a discussion about this for implicating characters to copyrights, but what about copyrights to copyrights?
Each one should implicate their umbrella tag, such as
pokemon -> nintendo
super mario bros. -> nintendo
subterranean animism or any other touhou game-> touhou

We already do. Try a search for Final Fantasy, for instance.
Each instance is decided on its own merits and gets its own thread. The "touhou" implication is the right idea. A "nintendo" implication would be worthless, though.
I think the nintendo tag would be best if it were only used for multiple characters from that copyright. Like, if Mario were hanging out with a Cyndaquil, it would get the super_mario_bros., pokemon, and nintendo tags.
Or maybe for stuff like post #792593.
