Aliasing /otsnn -> ookami-san_to_shichinin_no_nakamatachi.
Reason: This title is pretty long and could use a shortcut.

Huh, it also has the mnemonic of being otsuu but with upside-down u's.
That is a rather amusing coincidence.

If I was going to shortcut it I'd use "ookami-san" since that's the commonly used short name for it, and a lot more intuitive.
I thought of that too but didn't bring it up since it's only one word and may get rejected for ambiguity. I would want both of these aliases if we can, though.
Everything should probably be reversed so as to alias to Ookami-san, anyway. Ookami-san is used to refer to the series altogether. Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi merely refers to the title of the first light novel which was borrowed for the anime.

Can't the same point be made concerning suzumiya haruhi no yuuutsu?

True enough, but that seems like a can of worms and is just so ingrained. There's also the Suzumiya Haruhi character tag to deal with.
Here you can nip it in the bud since there isn't anything tricky of that nature to deal with.
Again, any thought to the Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi -> Ookami-san change, at least?

Done.
