You know, I think that's what happened to mine at one point. That brings me some relief. I want to upload great images to contribute to this site but I'm still learning about what is good enough and what isn't.

There's foreshortening here, but then everything is blur-filtered to hell. I feel like my eyes are out of focus looking at it. Also, with the black bands, the content of this pic is 600x400 at most. 400 is tiny for a screencap, and screencaps aren't really posted that much unless they're really good.

I'm not sure why this picture should be posted. It's monochrome, which wouldn't be a problem normally, but the character's face is really strange, and there's nothing great about the picture to counter that. Well, unless you were going for "look how stupid his dialogue is lol", in which case 4chan would be a better place for it.
That's just bad. I've seen a couple of legitimate complaints about deleted material, but this isn't one. Whoever deleted them was right to do so.
I have a question. Some pictures I posted got deleted, that was about two weeks ago. However, I noticed it says I have 0 deleted posts on "My Profile". I don't mind that at all, but I'm curious to know why the deleted posts don't show anymore, if Danbooru still remembers those pictures.

The pic is smaller when I use Photobucket. The original I have on my harddrive is quite a bit bigger and sharper. I got it from alex.plumbe.de

You could always check if the image is already in the system if its not explicit.

Duplicates are not a waste of time at all. If it's a "true" dupe the hash check catches them, and if it's the same image with a different resolution, then we have a new hash to avoid other people uploading it.
But yeah, you'd score better with the mods if you upload new quality content. :)

Indeed. Duplicates count as 0 towards your score.

The only valid reason I see to upload dupe is, if the artist site offers 2 resolutions of 1 pic, it's better to upload both and parent them right away, tagging smaller one duplicate, than having trouble searching for the dupe later when the smaller one is uploaded by a random person.
Kinda like what happened with post #155578 and post #156208
