Genshin Impact "The Final Gift"'s costumes tags

It's really not necessary to create new costume tags for Hoyo characters everytime like this. We already have the Hoyofair stuff that is a pain to look at because people keep creating new tags for the sake of... creating and nobody actually bother to populate them.

This is where the maximalist approach takes you, tagging a costume not because there would be a use gained from being able to search for it (which is why we started tagging them in the first place), but because it can be tagged and for tagging's sake it will be tagged.

For future reference, we have topic #19285 for submitting genshin impact costume implications.

I wasn't aware, I'll be careful next time, thanks for letting me know !

Honestly, fair and understandable. The tags were already a thing, so I figured since I can't do anything about that, might as well put them as implications at least.

I think it's fair to go ahead with these. While it is a fair consideration that sometimes costume tags are made for the sake of it and not because they provide any actual search utility, the thing about miHoYo characters and especially Genshin Impact is that you give artists a smidgen of a new costume and they will draw it to hell and back unless it's a character that basically no one cares about. A gift of being one of the most popular gacha games.

If post #11591252 contains what they all look like, they seem like incredibly fair game to tag. Each of these characters is an incredibly big tag on their own and their post counts explode even moreso when they become playable so it becomes harder to find these specific costumes with just non-complex gentag searches out of all the rest of the results of the characters. Plus, gacha game, meaning it's a copyright based all around appearances so gets our low-threshold exception on costume tagging.

As the person responsible for the overwhelming majority of the Hoyofair costume tags, I have never created one without populating it to the best of my ability and I continue to garden those tags as best I can. I'm certain I've missed posts, though, because it turns out that when costumes aren't tagged they are extremely difficult to find.

Which is why I create tags for them, because I'm interested in these costumes and want to be able to find them. And if they are tagged others can a) benefit from my effort finding the posts and b) contribute to gardening the tag.
