Any easier way to tag multiple posts at once?

So I just recently (and finally) found out that the spider design on Han Juri's default outfit in Street Fighter 6 is not a tattoo or body marking, but a stylised version of athletic tape.

I went ahead and made an athletic tape tag, and I used the "Mode: Tag Script" method to add it to a bunch of her posts, but I'm sure I missed a lot more.

I don't suppose there's any easier way to add the tag to multiple of her past posts? Or is Tag Script the best way?

Coupled with the issue about single-character tags is that adding a tag to a bunch of posts sight unseen is frowned upon due to one of our core rules being "tag what you see". Adding a tag to a character's posts via script is a really good way to accidentally have a lot of mistags.

The better (though more labor intensive) way to do so than by script is to go through the post pages and add the tag via the edit mode if you see it in the post.

That's the intended way to do tagging like that. Though this tag seems a bit questionable given tags that only apply to one character are typically frowned upon.

I highly doubt something as common as athletic tape is only going to show up on one character.

Yeah, that's why I asked.

Imagine someone who doesn't know nor care about this character searches for "athletic tape" and sees a bunch of completely random posts with no athletic tape in sight. This tag is useless.

Could someone not just search with "-han_juri" added in their search in that situation?

What should her black spider thing on her body be tagged with then?

It should be tagged with Street Fighter 6 because that's where she has it. Sometimes characters just have some super specific design aspect that's not really taggable or worth tagging because nobody is looking for it if they aren't looking for that character (see also: half of gacha characters).

Ohh, yeah. I think I get what you mean. Tagging Han Juri posts with athletic tape (which isn't a visually knowable thing for most people) is redundant because if the search has Street Fighter 6 in it as well, the spider athletic tape design is already in there.

Thank you. This kinda issue wasn't totally apparent to me when I made the tag.

Juri isn't wearing athletic tape, athletic tape looks completely different. Different texture, material, thickness, and purpose.

What she's wearing under her SF6 Outfit 1 top more closely resembles what we see in the Black Tape Project tag. Purely for aesthetics, glossy, thin, and artsy. I wouldn't be surprised if the Black Tape Project served as inspiration for her outfit.

“Black Tape Project is a fashion and body-art project best known for creating runway “outfits” out of adhesive body tape placed directly on models’ bodies. The tape is arranged in geometric, swimwear-like, lingerie-like, or sculptural patterns, so the result sits somewhere between fashion show, body art, performance art, and provocative swimwear presentation.”

Granted, a more generic tag for this kinda thing with body tape wouldn't be a bad idea. Legally speaking, I'm pretty sure Capcom isn't doing any sort of collaborative licensed work with Black Tape Project.
