shinigami
A tag of very dubious usefulness. Much like bakeneko (mythology), this tag is named after a folkloric figure, but is rarely, if ever, used for its traditional depictions. In fact, it seems that there are no traditional depictions of shinigami in this site (probably because they were rarely ever depicted in art to begin with).
50% of the tag is the Soul Reapers from Bleach, 25% is the shinigami from Death Note, the rest is a random assortment of characters from various copyrights whose only common trait is wielding a scythe (if that).
Unlike bakeneko, I think a nuke and/or deprecation is warranted in this case. The Death Note shinigami are unique enough that they could get their own tag. As for Bleach, maybe a tag like shinigami_uniform_(bleach) or gotei_13_uniform? The rest are just canon tagging and can be found by searching scythe.
