Apparently "treant" is the term from D&D because Tolkien's estate issued a C&D to them for using the term "ent". Anyway, I've never heard this term before, and "ent" is the original name, so I think it should be aliased.

Should be the other way around to maintain consistency with the alias of hobbit -> halfling from topic #30460.

+1 for aliasing to treant as it is the more common term used by series that aren't directly tied to Tolkien. This is especially true of Japanese anime, manga, and LNs which tended to have adopted their terms from D&D even if they might have deviated in their development over time like with orc.
