Why on earth are such excessively strict standards applied to costume tags? It is particularly problematic that such criteria exist for fighting games. Of course, it is true that I created the list without properly reading the wiki, but even after that, I focused on modifying tags that looked different from the existing ones, and it is truly sad that all of this has been deleted. I really don't understand what the difference is between a gacha game and a fighting game.
I have read through all your posts on the Street Fighter costume forum, but your standards are far too strict specifically for fighting games, and your logic is completely incomprehensible. Okay, let's assume that is the case for Tekken because there is less data available. However, games like The King of Fighters and Street Fighter clearly have dozens of costumes for each character. I admit that gacha games have far more data, but the tags there are neatly organized by costume, even though some of them seem to have fewer entries than minor fighting game characters. So why is it that only fighting games are treated this way?
I will point out that the thread I pinged you in wasn't a fighting game costume, it was a Pokemon copyright tag costume, which is why it got nuked. And that answers your question, it isn't only fighting games that are treated this way. As I highlighted elsewhere in topic #32523/topic #33754 and forum #390638, Costume Tagging (as in, as it relates to the Costume Tagging Debate, not costume tagging generally) is currently restricted to specific spheres, and there's a general interest in limiting the spread of costume tagging to other spheres because of issues such as maximalist approaches.
And putting that itself, you're clearly not being careful when tagging, with cases like crimson_viper_(outpit_2) (putting aside default costume tagging, you typo'd it without a care), clair_(gsc)_(pokemon) and sabrina_(pokemon_adventures) (which also can be searched just by pairing the character tag with the copyright tag, which is why the latter has been nuked by vote in topic #36093), a.k.i._(street_fighter)_(3rd_costume) (wrong qualifier order which I critiqued you for in forum #439094 already, but also using the wrong name, because "3rd costume" from which game?, forcing me to manually correct it to a.k.i._(outfit_3)_(street_fighter) so that it can be properly in topic #28159), etc. I'd recommend that you make favorite groups instead of tags if you want to propose costume tags instead, and if you need instructions, see here.
