drugged VS stoned

initially i thought these 2 tags seem to be the same concept,
and that they should be united into one

however, 'stoned' seems to also mean drunk (according to this dictionary), so perhaps it is ambiguous enough to be deprecated
can someone American confirm this is the meaning?

it's far more common for stoned to mean under the influence of weed/marijuana, drunk to mean under the influence of alcohol, and (for good measure) high to mean under the influence of any drug that isn't alcohol

stoned could hypothetically mean drunk, but in common speaking that's very rarely the case
