Resuming from topic #33540. These tags are an ungodly mess, if we really want to differentiate between the two types of open bra we should still have a main tag that unifies everything. Right now these tags are used interchangeably.
We also have front-tie bra and front-hook bra that should be unified into a tag for bras that can open from the front, to distinguish them from traditional bras that can be opened from the back. Whether we want a tag for that as well is debatable. We'll also need to split/deprecate front-tie top eventually, but that's for another day.
The main issue is what to call "a bra that CAN BE opened from the front" and "a bra that IS opened from the front" without ending up with two highly ambiguous tags. Google calls them "front-closure bra", "front-open bra", "front-opened bra", and only the first seems unambiguous enough.
There's also the issue that front-tie bra is a mix of actual front-tie bras, and makeshift bras (note that makeshift bra is for non-bra items being used as bras, so it's another mess).
