The difference between cover image and cover page has always been a big source of confusion. This might help.
I don't know if we want to imply cover image to cover page, but a lot of them are already tagged this way: cover_page textless_version.

the wiki says this "is" the textless version. shouldn't it be a meta tag instead, then? i wanted to "
imply textless_cover_page -> textless_version" after this but it won't let me without changing the category first
If you're changing textless cover page into meta, then you'll have to do the same with cover page, no? And then cover itself.
They're not always fully textless, just more textless than the parent or missing the giant title/publisher name. post #11038006 for example is not textless.

so textless version is only for completely textless? i thought post #10995858 for example counted, but it has the artist name and is dated, so it doesn't count?
You raise a good point. But as damian said, we would also need to change cover page, so you should suggest that in its own topic, because we can't change one without the other, and it'd be hidden in this thread.
