A while back, all of the Pokémon Professors had their tags changed, removing the qualifiers and adding "professor" to the start (elm_(pokemon) -> professor_elm, birch_(pokemon) -> professor_birch, etc.). The justification for this was that said characters are better known with their titles, and I think the same logic could also apply to Lt. Surge. We already use crasher_wake instead of wake_(pokemon), so there is precedent for not using qualifiers on two-word names beyond just the professors.
