Was having trouble finding this meme.
I see it called SFW all the time, so I thought I could just search for tags with *sfw* in them.

on one hand i know that's how it's called but on the other hand it would be weird to search for sfw cat and end up getting a load of pussy

Is it even genuinely SFW? Like, girls pressing their pee holes down a surface, draw the rest of the anus at the front with some creatures (usually cats), and sh!t like that. Exposing even a single sensitive spot should be considered at least remotely NSFW (so either "questionable" or "explicit"). How would that be SFW? I'm confused.

The wiki explains why the trend is named like that. I was confused and couldn't find this tag either the other day, because a lot of people on twitter just write "sfw cat trend" or "cat, sfw" and we have a completely different name for it. Just look at the commentary list.

It's a Twitter meme to label everything as "SFW illustration" in the (probably false) belief that it will cause the algorithm to think their work is SFW so their reach doesn't get suppressed.
