What I took away from that thread is that we don't usually imply magical girls to civilian identities because it's common for shows/fandoms of the genre to have very clear separation of the two in a way that means users searching for one wouldn't want results with the other, but there are some examples of magical girls that are currently implied to their civilian identities on this site already (Princess Tutu (Character), Princess Kraehe, Kaname Madoka (Magical Girl), Prisma Illya). Aika has zero separation from her magical girl version, she doesn't even really go by Star Guardian, it's just what everyone else calls her. Being a magical girl is just her job that she hates and her magical girl form is just an instant outfit change. There's no personality shift or actual alternate persona, she just poofs into her dress and continues on as normal but with magic powers
