I mean, in the case of Hearts of Iron, as a series of a strategy games set during WW2, unless something specifically references gameplay mechanics or UI, or features screenshots, et al, you literally cannot tag the individual games (unless the given thing is so ambiguous you can't tag it anyway; post #7649606 for Europa Universalis you can't exactly tell which game it is). The only Hearts of Iron post to reference something specifically from the games and not just be mod/let's play fanart is post #5692466.
We have individual tags for Europa Universalis, but Europa Universalis III is just post #1494642 due to the logo on the bottom left and Europa Universalis IV is just post #8355345, which I guess is for the shield in the top right, since the Ottomans' crescent sun is fully visible in the middle as opposed to being slightly to the left like in EU3. Individual game tags end up looking more like padding than anything in a context like this.
