noooooooooooooooo not after i spent so much time trying to figure out how to romanize it TT.TT I thought you always had to romanize though? like every anime does this even if they have official english release names, so can you explain why not here?

No, thats not necessary, theres only one post (mine) that has the tag so far.

I am pretty confused by this. The howto:copyright page very clearly says that copyrights must be tagged in their original languages.
howto:romanize also mentions chinese. Why is this different?

Japanese series typically generated recognition before English releases, especially in the past, and in many cases retaining the Japanese title made things easier. Using the original language for every series from every other country just makes it more difficult to recognize, and the vast majority of these series gain attention after western release and have a more recognizable English title. It'd be obnoxious if we had to alias things like Planet of the Apes to La Planète des singes just cause of their origins.
