exterior equivilant of loaded_interior?

Hello! I was told in the discord to make a forum post so here I am

Basically was trying to figure out of there was an exterior or building equivalent of the loaded_interior tag and couldn't find any while tagging this post here: post #9066732 . In the discord some things like "megastructure" and "impossible architecture" were suggested but those don't really fit.

I ended up tagging things like "building, tower, spire, architecture, fantasy" which all fit and I suppose you can look up fantasy + building but that also seems very broad.

I also found this post as another example: post #5998482

These two images are both a very specific kind of thing with the almost creature like overloaded/tons of towers and metal and stuff sticking out. There is also the fantasy aspect but as I said, "fantasy_architecture" may end up being very broad what that means? Perhaps adding a more broad tag like fantasy_architecture would be really nice, but I also wonder if there's a world where we could have an exterior/building equivalent of loaded interior. detailed_exterior? loaded_exterior?

I feel like there may multiple possible buckets to talk about here here:

1 - the more broad fantasy architecture element, which could maybe mean any amount of things, but maybe the focus is that the architecture is not something you would see in real life? I'm not gonna find examples for this bc maybe it could be too many things, but this was a tag suggested by someone else on the discord. I also wonder if a lot of it would already be covered by other tags, like floating castles, orrr if there would be a lot of mistags from users bc oh its architecture in a fantasy setting so it must be this tag? Idk. Im overthinking so I'll leave it there.

2 - the super detailed/lots of stuff going on but it's focused on exterior building elements bucket, either on one specific building or multiple buildings close together like these examples:

(sidenote, I am also wondering if theres any usecase for a more direct translation of loaded_interior to the outdoors, which I would imagine would be more focused on lots of objects but in a place outside vs the above which is more focused on building exterior stuff -- like something like a junkyard with a bunch of stuff for ex. But I didn't really find any great examples to point at nor does that really apply to my post so I dropped it, but am still throwing this in here as an extra thought)

3 - Maybe this makes less sense as i'm at a loss for trying to really describe this bucket, but I see the structure in my post as a kind of the same/similar as the structures in these examples:

Or honestly, maybe I'm overthinking all of this and this is just some wonky looking castle thing and I should leave it at that. Idk.

I am super new to danbooru tagging so I am not really an expert here in general. I am interested in y'alls thoughts. Thanks!

big +1 to creating a tag for things like what you mentioned in point 2 of your post. not sure about the name, but i personally think something like dense architecture or complex architecture could work.

I like complex_architecture more than dense_architecture! Since dense_architecture imo would be more something like this post #8575303, which doesn't really fit the spirit of what that bucket is imo

edit: Or what about complex_exterior instead of complex_architecture -- complex_exterior might fit pretty well with the scenario I described in the parenthesis/sidenote under 2 as well, which could be nice

i'm thinking if we want to include posts featuring complex exteriors without it necessarily being the architecture that's complex (take post #8699491 or post #5589935 where the architecture itself is relatively simple but the amount of objects around the scene makes it feel complex), then yeah, a name like complex_exterior or loaded_exterior would make more sense.

it really just depends on what the tag's scope should be. or maybe these could be two separate tags, though perhaps that's too granular for some people's liking.

Yeah, I really like what you described as being part of the tags scope. Just a more general "there's a lot going on here, but it's outdoors" sounds great.

Apparently I can just...make new tags as a blue member which I didn't know, so imma do that in a little unless someone else steps in and says absolutely not lol

alright! I tagged a few of the relevant posts that were put in here and made a wiki page complex_exterior

Didnt think too hard about wording for the wiki so feel free to upgrade it if you want :D

took the liberty to rewrite the wiki based off your draft to make it feel more in line with other tag wikis. other than that, looks good to me. i'll see if i can find some more posts to populate this with later.
