Am I opinion that I do find a system a little flawed having posts only up for three days is kind of short maybe should be five days until it gets if I post on appealed it gets deleted

Then why did you make it one per person then?
Freshblink is not the CEO of danbooru, first of all. Second of all uploaded posts are only in the modqueue for 3 days to begin with, so it makes sense that the appeal period would be the same length of time. And Allowing one singular user to be able to appeal the same post an unlimited amount of times would be super duper abused. If it's actually quality artwork to warrant an appeal as opposed to someone upset their self-upload didn't make the cut, other users will appeal it if the first appeal fails.

I think this is what Freshblink meant by “unlimited appeals potential.” Any post can potentially be appealed as many times as the number of users. And admins can approve posts an unlimited number of times too, though I’m sure that occurs extremely rarely.

Yes, just explaining to Neprime why appeals for a specific post are limited to one per person. (cuz sometimes the shit that gets appealed is... not it)

Pretty certain that the one appeal limit is the result of purple users abusing the system with a specific image

That post wasn't appealed by any one user more than once, and I'm pretty sure the one per person limit already existed well before that post. It was appealed by users that had previously approved it, but never more than once each.

Earliest iteration of howto:appeal is from 2020 and it mentions the one appeal per post per user restriction.
Appeals used to be handled in topic #8554. I don’t know if they had that restriction back then, but if they did, it probably wasn’t easy to enforce. Danbooru was far less automated back then.

You can see in the very first post of that thread one of the rules is not to appeal the same post more than once. There are also appeals wikis that predate the current one, obviously deleted for being outdated, and in the oldest of these it's stated that appeals are limited to one per post rather than per person. I think it used to be expected that you would appeal your own uploads, not someone else's. Also Approvers used to be called "Queue Masters". So cringe.
Anyway, as NNT mentions on the last page of the retired Danbooru Issues thread, one appeal per person has always been the rule, regardless of how well it was enforced, and the current implementation of the appeals system has never allowed users to appeal the same posts more than once per user. Purple roles acting like children had nothing to do with that.

I believe you mean the infamous post #574061? That was when approvers (or maybe moderators?) could approve the same post multiple times.

Are these wikis on completely different pages that are no longer used? Because this version, the one I referred to before, was the earliest I could find. And it says the same thing as the current version, just with slightly different wording.
I did forget to read the first post of that thread, but since they do get updated sometimes, I can’t always be sure which ones existed from the beginning (though I would trust they wouldn’t change too much).
