Duet Night Abyss is an upcoming game by Hero Games (HK Hero Entertainment). Implication will retain convention with playable protagonists from other series (e.g. Rover (Wuthering Waves) and Trailblazer (Honkai: Star Rail)) for future arts featuring the playable protagonist.

The playable protagonist is referred to as "Phoxhunter" but their distinctive titles are, yes, that long, according to the official website.

nuke phoxhunter_(duet_night_abyss)

It's been 2 years now and through all the changes the game has faced from development to launch, this should probably be destroyed. It so turns out that the two implicated to this tag are intended to be completely independent characters that are connected in some way, much like Aether (Genshin Impact) and Lumine (Genshin Impact), rather than being the same character represented as different genders. As a matter of fact, both characters' genders are independently pickable.

Respective default in-game names as well as what is used on outside media such as Discord emotes/stickers. The current names are outdated and massively unwieldy to type.

Not familiar with DNA, but from what I see it may require some clean up to separate the male version of this Vita char from this DreamBoy/Mors char??

What do you mean? They're already separately and properly tagged, the only thing these two BURs accomplishes is nuking the parent tag and changing the current name of their respective tags. If both tags are appearing, it's because both of them are in frame.

I don't see the DreamBoy char there

I just see the male and female version of what I assume is Vita/Phoxhunter, at least according to the images on this wiki

Oh, good catch, I didn't even see it up close. Yeah this would be dual persona of Vita, distinguishable by the red growth at the top of their head. That's troublesome, I thought they were already separately tagged from the beginning.

It looks like there's only two-ish posts for now of Mors proper so I'll slightly adjust the BURs. As things stand most posts are of Vita.

This one to apply the correct character tag. The difference between them is in the examples below.

This is Vita. Bandages, dissheveled look, red horn. Sometimes a cloak like in post #10558428.
These are both Mors. No horn, no bandages, military outfit.

The former protagonist tags are already horrible to type and aren't in any danger of being recreated so I've opted not to deprecate them but I have written wikis instructing what alternate tags to use for those who still care.
