"Boxer" vs "Boxers" disambiguation

These are two distinctive tags with very similar names. One is "boxer", which refers to a person who practiced boxing. Other is "boxers", which refers to a type of male underwear.

Given that the only difference is a single S, I think a qualification is needed, but I cannot think of any at the moment. Any help?

For reference here are the years and times the boxers tag was corrected for confusing boxers with boxing/boxer.

• 2022: 1 mistagged boxer/boxing
• 2018: 1 mistagged boxer/boxing
• 2012: 1 mistagged boxer/boxing

Total mistagging boxers for boxer/boxing since 2007: 3 times.

The most common form of mistagging was tagging boxers for other types of underwear or shorts, such as boxer briefs, swim trunks, dolphin shorts, and boyshorts (panties).

Given the extremely minimal amount of mistags between the two tags, I don't see a need to disambiguate them.

Although they're not at issue with one another, I definitely feel boxer is a needless profession tag.

Given that boxing gloves and boxing both exist I'm inclined to agree.

Plus 'boxer' is a dog breed
