Ibaraki Kasen and Ibaraki Douji implications

While Ibaraki Douji’s Arm is technically a separate entity from Kasen, she still looks nearly identical to Kasen, especially when Kasen’s hair buns are removed, and she is a physical manifestation of both Kasen’s arm and the malevolent traits of her personality. Meaning she is part of Kasen.

Ibaraki Douji (Touhou) is literally Kasen’s true form. It’s what she was before her arm was removed and it’s the form she reassumes after regaining her arm. I can understand Ibaraki Douji’s Arm technically counting as a separate character, but it makes no sense for Ibaraki Douji to not imply Kasen since it literally is her physically.

I feel like these tags lacking implications creates unnecessary confusion.

I don't know Touhou lore so I can't comment on the lore, but is there any reason for Douji's wiki to be entirely spoilered?

Ibaraki Douji only appears at the literal end of the manga Kasen debuted in, Wild and Horned Hermit, like, we're talking the last two chapters, and the form has not made a reappearance in other official Touhou media since, so unless you've read that manga it is very much a spoiler (the form, that is, most folks already assumed she was in fact Touhou's Ibaraki Douji). It's why, in contrast to Kasen herself, her Douji form is so ill-represented on Danbooru.

Even so, wikis should generally either avoid including information that needs to be spoilered, or just not bother spoilering it. If that information is actually useful, it defeats the purpose of it being hidden like that. At the very least, I don't think having the appearance description spoilered accomplishes anything.

meh on douji, ive seen some fan works portray her as completely different from kasen, but just as much as kasen's true form so i dont feel too strong either way
