Marvel and DC characters

I think that is mostly because a Super Hero name is not always associated with a specific person/character. Sometimes you will have Bruce Wayne in a picture but not as Batman, or have a different character carrying the mantle of the Batman. Sometimes you will have Robin in a picture but it may be either Dick Grayson, Jason Todd or Damian Wayne. Sometimes you need the person tag + the hero/villain tag to differentiate a specific version of the character, like Joker/Arthur Fleck.

The Silk and Cindy Moon example could be a case where virtually all posts will just be the two tags and not have other character associated with the hero, but Iron Man is much more popular and there will certainly will be posts of Tony Stark without the armor.

It is a different case than Boku no Hero Academia, which is also about heroes and have characters being referred either by civillain name or hero/villain name, but in contrast to Marvel/DC, every hero have a single civillain identity in BNHA and not multiple incarnations, just like how mangas and american comics are different in general.

It was decided for BNHA's case that the students would have the civillain name tags, while Pro-Heroes and most villains would have their hero/villain name as the tag, basically going for how the character is referred to most of the time, with some exceptions having both civillain name and hero/villain name tags (such as All Might and Dabi) for specific reasons.
