Indeed.
Since the paid upgrades are still unavailable, and the only way to get a Promotion is contributing, it's normal to have doubts and a bunch of questions to do it properly and don't screw up your chances. We were all novices at some point, and honestly, I'd rather having a novice asking everything they need with potentially becoming a resourceful user than another user complaining for not having the Gold upgrades available.

Promotions come in wave from what I've read on another topic ? So far I think I'm doing well, I still have a few issues with tagging but I'm always trying to improve.

I think depending on what you do it can range from it not mattering to it just making discussions slightly slower. All official policy-related discussions should still go through the forums for findability reasons, but if you often find yourself needing help with tagging, Discord is by far the fastest place to get help.

Don't be so hard on yourself, you are doing a pretty good job so far. Also, you are willing to improve your tagging, because I know you frequent topic #12251 and you don't doubt in asking questions. Willing to improve is necessary for everyone who's aspiring to get a Promotion.
