IMO, I do not actually think anyone would remember such a full name. Even the Japanese just use the surname, as shown in the other names in the wiki.
Is there a reason Kancolle uses her full name but Azur Lane uses Duca Degli Abruzzi?

The actual ship both characters are based on was called "Luigi di Savoia Duca degli Abruzzi", after Prince Luigi Amedeo (Giuseppe Maria Ferdinando Francesco di Savoia [Oh god his full name is even longer]), the Duke of the Abruzzi. First name "Luigi", surname "(di) Savoia"*, with "Duca degli Abruzzi" being his ducal title referring to the Italian region of Abruzzo.
*"of Savoy", the same as Prinz Eugen, incidentally. Yes, they're from the same noble 'house'. Interesting, eh?
Anyhow, because of the sheer unwieldy length of the ship's name, most sources in multiple different languages shorten it to just "Duca degli Abruzzi" ("Duke of the Abruzzi") or some equivalent.
Most English sources tend to call the ship Duca degli Abruzzi, with the full name written somewhere in the article if it's necessary. Chinese sources likewise use 阿布鲁齐公爵 ("Duke Abruzzi"). This is likely why Azur Lane uses Duca degli Abruzzi.
Japanese sources, for some reason, tend to stick to the full ルイージ・ディ・サヴォイア・ドゥーカ・デッリ・アブルッツィ (Luigi di Savoia Duca degli Abruzzi) for the actual ship. This is likely why Kancolle followed suit with Luigi di Savoia Duca degli Abruzzi. Gets rather silly when an article starts talking about the Luigi di Savoia Duca degli Abruzzi-class cruiser "Luigi di Savoia Duca degli Abruzzi", because oh god writing it out in katakana just makes the name length problem even WORSE.
As such, the Japanese Kancolle fanbase tend to just use Abruzzi, though for English purposes I personally think it's incorrect because Abruzzi is the name of a region, not a person's (or his namesake) name. It would be like calling "Prince of Wales" just "Wales". As such, Duca degli Abruzzi would be sensible, and is the usual convention used in English sources when talking about the real life ship (and ship class).
(Luigi di Savoia would also work, but this would deviate from the usual convention use in English sources to describe her ship namesake.)
