Agree with the disambiguation. Going by Wikipedia, may I suggest ball-and-chain flail as a less clunky sounding tag name?

It'd be best to avoid that, because these weapons do not necessarily have a handle (right there in our wiki) which is part of what defines a flail as a flail. Ex: post #2880334, post #235637, post #3391578. This is specifically why the ball and chain weapon is separate from the flail tag.

I would support this naming, as it would match with the current naming scheme generally used. Specific weapons that have an ambiguous name use *_(weapon) (ex: saber_(weapon), bow_(weapon)) while only very general tags use *_weapon (ex: energy weapon, flaming weapon, holstered weapon).
