Aren't all these *_and_* tags a bit niche? I'm not aware of any such tags for other copyrights where a character's normal and alternate forms appear alongside one another. Like, there's no tag for magical girls in both their civilian and transformed forms or transforming robots in both their mecha and mundane forms, so it seems weird to have no fewer than five such tags just for Pokemon.

Suggestion: ditch the implications, merge all these *_and_* tags into something more broadly useful like multiple_forms, and use that along with shiny_pokemon/alolan_form/whatever to filter your search results. A combined tag may be more valuable in the long run than a bunch of overly narrow tags that each only ever get used by maybe one or two users.

Using multiple_forms seems like a nice idea, thanks. Even though I'm not sure about deleting the *_and_* tags, I'm thinking. I guess I would rather create magical girl and normal for images like post #3032273, and mecha and normal for images like post #3098604. I think they're a bit like husband and wife, brother and sister, teacher and student, angel and devil, and creature and personification.

Incidentally, I think multiple forms would be probably flooded with creature and personification posts.

Actually, multiple forms and creature and personification sound mutually exclusive to me. The latter doesn't apply when a character has both human and non-human forms (afaik), while the former sounds like it involves multiple official/pre-existing forms of a character.

The tag creature and personification seems to apply to Luna and Artemis from Sailor Moon: post #1810091. Also various My Little Pony characters with official pony and human versions: creature_and_personification /mlp.

Sometimes there is fanart of Mega Pokémon, Gigantamax, regional forms, etc. created by fans (as in, not official), such as the ones in Gigantamax (other)... For instance, post #3698728 = Gigantamax Octillery. I liked the idea of maybe creating multiple forms, but I don't think this tag should be limited by whether the forms are official or unofficial.
