Maybe users are mistagging for wedding_ring/wedding_band?
married -wedding_band -wedding_dress returns a few results that aren’t mistags (at least the non-explicit ones).

In some of those I wonder why it's even tagged, in the rest wouldn't husband and wife and similar do the trick?

There's always the potential for the married person to be cheating, I guess, but that's why cheating is a tag.

We have wife_and_wife and husband_and_husband for that. Maybe all three tags should be implicated to married instead of nuking it?
