Every nail color is tagged like that. So why shouldn't multicolored nails be tagged the same?

EDIT: The tag alias multicolored_nail_polish -> multicolored_nails (forum #147089) has been approved by @Hillside_Moose.

And here I thought that was kept under nail_art.

I thought the tag was only for different colours on the nails on the same hand and not for nail art too, either way I don't really have any strong opinion about this alias.

This is basically how I feel too. The wiki should be rewritten to mean that individual nails are painted different colors; images where multicolored designs are painted on the nails should be migrated to nail art.

Nail art? Don't we have painted_nails for that?

Painted nails is aliased to nail polish, we are merely suggesting that images containing nail art shouldn't be tagged with multicolored nail polish/multicolored nails, we aren't arguing against the alias.

Shouldn't that be a different discussion held in it's own thread then? This thraed was created to request an alias for the tag to be aliased into multicolored_nails. It had nothing to do with nail art. If you are talking about nails that each nail are painted in many colors, then those should just have but have the "multicolored_nails" tag implied.

Well the discussion only came up because the multicolored nail polish wiki states it should be used on nail art images but you are right, it's a bit off-topic.
