Or maybe there's a need for a new, more advanced way of tagging stuff that will be out of scope for this site. Something like different sets of tags for every character on the pic instead of one set of tags for the entire picture...
I agree with this, but I'm not holding my breath for it to be implemented.
For characters that typically have double-sided hairstyles like twin braids or twintails, but only one side is shown in the picture, should they be tagged as such if the part of the hair that we can see is consistent with the usual appearance?
Minato Aqua in her minato aqua (sailor) outfit usually has twin braids, and aside from the front bangs being slightly different (seems like the glasses are pushing her hair up), it seems to be the usual hairstyle. However, I was inclined to go with single braid since that was all we could see.
Extra question: I'm wondering if this picture qualifies for eye focus? The eye takes up most of the center part of the image, but looking at other pictures with the tag, it's usually pictures that only show the eye or have way more detailed eyes.
post #8405212 Does wrist_cutting and/or self-harm apply to this post? The scene is from anime and she technically cut her own wrist to spill blood, but the mood is not really the same as usual posts under those tags.

It still applies, we don't assume the average person knows the canon reason or emotion in a scene with no context.
post #8292241, post #7229470 Most of this character posts are tagged with colored_eyelashes, but 8 of them with white_eyelashes. Many [color]_eyelashes tags (e.g. green) are aliased to colored_eyelashes, but white_eyelashes isn't, description just contains "See colored_eyelashes". What is a proper way to tag eyelashes of this character, colored or white?
I commented a year ago on so on post #3556847 asking if there was a tag for a female character ejaculating on another's body (face, specifically). Still wondering if a tag like it might be needed... it would only be useful for a handfuls of posts, probabily, but the fact that the example I'm using is currently tagged as cum, cum on body, and facial is just incorrect and has always bothered me a little.
Should I simply remove the tags that imply "cum" and call it a day?
Should screenshots of anime in the corner be tagged at all? including characters?
Only if it's significantly part of the image. The characters should be tagged but you could leave it at that without tagging the things in the screenshot, not necessary.
