That's pretty much right. Though you should look at display name on Pixiv (which is さとるF for this artist) and romanize that, instead of looking at the account name (satoruf). For this particular artist it wouldn't matter since they're both pretty much the same, just pointing it out for future reference since it's a common mistake.

Yes if you don't know anything about Japanese asking in this thread is your best bet.

If the name only has kana and no kanji then automatic tools like google translate or http://romaji.me/ are usually accurate. (...Except for rare cases like ふおぉぉぉお from a couple posts ago.)
