FF Races and creatures q

I've been clearing up the chartags from FF list of characters wiki and I have a question. So, sapient races are a gentag. What about monsters? For instance, some lich_(final_fantasy) or fenrir_(final_fantasy)

Uh, no, the races should be character tags just as they have been for the past 5 years. Why would they not be?

Because when I suggested to change them into gentags on the grounds that elf and orc are gentags nobody minded -_-

The FF races are tied to one specific series if not one specific game, unlike elf and orc which are just genre races.
