moderator approval - re upload question and request

sorry for asking,
a picture deletet with the "Unapproved in three days" mark -> is there a way to re upload it and get the same id back? (favs, tags, votes, pool) or is the reupload handled like a new pic?

If it wasn't approved, you shouldn't be reuploading it. That's the whole point...

No, re-uploads are treated as duplicates. That is to say after the image uploads it says "post already exists" and provides a link to the deleted post.

Like jxh says though, there's no point in reuploading anyway.
