nevertheless I, you and others would still like to have that feature anyway so perhaps it could be an option in the settings and be disabled by default for everyone else.

Yes, I would really like it if this could be an option. Only being able to see the six most recent favorites really cuts back on the general usability of the feature in my opinion.

I've fixed the favorites issue (although I've only tested in Firefox 3).

I've also started work on a separate daemon process to handle cpu-intensive tasks. Currently it'll happen all tag alias/implication approvals and mass tag edits, but I will try and expand it in the future. Goals include downloading images, resizing images, and doing related tag queries.

I've moved most of the footer links to a subheader at the top. I stole the idea from akibakko.net, which on the whole looks a lot more polished than this site. I think it makes more sense there since you no longer have to scroll all the way to the bottom to find the related links.

Is the comment respond box supposed to be centered instead of to the left under the comments like it was? And 'My Favorites' redirects to the front page? And the red notices like 'Post added to favorites is a little too much to the left. No more Help page?

And the interface change looks fantastic! Such seemingly small changes, but it just looks so much better (not that it was bad before either).

Thanks albert.

I really like the new interface. Having the "upload" and "popular" links up top is something I have thought would be a good idea for some time now.

One little nit-pick that probably only affects me is the replacement of "more" with "»". It's aesthetic and effective, but screws with the NextPlease Firefox extension I use. NextPlease now misinterprets the "»" as meaning "next", rendering the extension mostly useless on Danbooru (since the extension triggers the first "next" it finds on the page).

It's not really something that needs fixing (especially not for just me). I'll just greasemonkey myself around it.

Yeah, the changes aren't just eye-pleasing, but they're functional as well (the streamlined top bar). Good work.

Would changing it to >> help?

Just a quick note that MY favorite change is having "Moderate" at the top, because now I can browse pics and not have to go back to "Posts" to open up the mod page to approve it.

I can say the same thing with the "Upload" link. Very convenient, indeed.

I think ">>" would act the same, since that's also interpreted as "next" (like it is at the bottom of Danbooru). Right now I'm greasemonkeying it into an arrow (⇒), though I don't think that looks as nice for a general purpose link. Basically it would need to be something not typically used as a "next" link for navigation. It's working for me now though with my little hack, so you don't need to worry about it unless there are others with the same problem.

I rather like the new interface too. It seems easier to get around now (particularly like having "My Favorites" under "Posts").

I don't know if this has been discussed or if this is happening to anyone else other than me, but after the change in interface, the forum link will not become bold when there are new posts.

I have to manually check myself to see if there are new posts in the forum.

It doesn't become bold anymore, yes, but it does turn into italics. That's how you can tell that there are new posts in the forum.
