Danbooru 2 upgrade on Feb 16, 2013

Anyone tried viewing Danbooru on a phone yet?
I can't view notes, I can't favorite, I can't edit, and I can't comment. Would be nice to fix this though, from someone who moves around a lot and uses the phone to view Danbooru.

FWIW, the locks are still there (I can see them), so they likely have been limited in scope. Which is a problem, Contrib+ definitely should be able to use them.

Oh so the locks are still around. Thanks for confirming that Hazuki.

So it's no longer possible to view the list of comments you've posted on pictures over the years?

I really, really hope this is temporary.

I found this:
http://danbooru.donmai.us/comments/search

However, I tried searching by my own username and Something Broke.
If there is a known issue with searching comments by user, that's probably why there isn't a link on your profile page - it's super easy to make a deep link that would simulate using the search form for a particular user's comments, but if said link won't work, you don't want to have it on there, as it'll spam the error logs.

tl;dr there's a feature to search for comments by user, but it seems to be broken right now.

OK, here's my thing. The bugs don't bother me as much as how the change has made me think about the user interface design, specifically the image pages.

For me, the copyright, character, and tags are rarely useful as I usually already know the character, copyright, and even the artist before I even click on the thumbnail. What I'd rather have in the top left corner is the information box first, then the options and the history. A lot of us would click to add a note, tag, or add to favorites before we'd ever even look at the tags. Having that in the upper left just makes more sense.

The setup for the pools on the image pages is horrible. Some of the pools have very long names and the previous method worked great. I'd even prefer the full "next" and "previous" word to click. My monitor is massive and I keep my text small. Those little arrows have got to go.

Nothing else bothers me yet. I'm patient enough to work through bugs.

Farewell, deleted art... you now seem to be truly deleted. I shall miss you.

I can still see (freshly) deleted art under status:deleted

I can't. Maybe I'm misinterpreting it, but after a quick glance on source it seems that "less than privileged = no more status:deleted for you". This is sad.

Correction:
I can see 20 images under status:deleted or a "status:deleted + user:X" query, but that's it.

Additionally, running a query for user:kikimaru also only returns one page.

I think it's a temporary thing since my uploads are apparently capped at 20, too (which wouldn't make sense with the formula.

I can't see my deleted images as well. A shame since I used to do that to see if one of the images I have in my folder was deemed as not worthy.
I'd really like to see that feature return as they still seem to be there (at least a search displays tags on the sidebar)

I did, and I think it depends on the mobile device. Danbooru displays correctly on my iPod Touch, although posts are displayed 3x7 as opposed to 4x5 in my computer. But when I view the site on my Android phone, so far the "formatting" was thrown out the window as the color borders do not appear and the posts appear below the tag list.

API doesn't seem to give post count anymore in the xml-response. It used to be <posts count="xxx" offset="0"> but now it's only <posts>

Is there now any way to know how many images does the search retrieve?

As probably mentioned before, the entire wiki seems to be inaccessible for the time being, or at least clicking on any links with the new url format:

show_or_new

You can access most wiki pages by searching for their name in the wiki search field or making a link with brackets.

Here are two working links to the Tag Groups wiki:
wiki #5883
tag_groups

Wiki pages like help:users don't work at all, though. And I was wondering where some people got information about the new user levels when those pages are down.
