Tag split: foot_hold

Splitting foot_hold into:

• holding own foot (post #1016601, etc.)
• holding another's foot (post #906869, etc.)
• between toes (post #923670, etc.)

Reason:

foot_hold is being used for these three different things

It might be worthwhile to retain food_hold, particularly for the between_toes type images. Not all images of between_toes will be about holding up an object with their foot. There are some aspects of this that will likely need to be worked out though.

foot hold still is an ambiguous name... holding between toes is better.

Your proposed name would not work because it is too restrictive. Some people can pick up objects simply by griping the item with their toes instead of between their toes and the tag should be able to cover such depictions as well. I'm suggesting a broader tag that would not be a subcategory of between_toes but a fully independent tag in its own right.

That sounds interesting. Would post #923670, which is tagged between_toes, be tagged foot_hold, simultaneously?

And, foot_hold would be restricted to feet holding things, instead of feet being held, resulting in that tag being removed from post #522322, correct?

Yes, I would tag post #923670 with both under my proposal. Images like post #522322 would be removed and moved to the tags that you proposed for people holding their own or another person's foot.

Then, personally, I support your proposal, except the choice of "foot hold" as the tag name for that purpose. I'd prefer something less ambiguous, possibly foot holding.

We already have mouth_hold so I'm inclined to just keep foot_hold.

As for the new tags, they sound fine.

Did:

• Populate holding own foot and holding another's foot with all the applicable posts from foot hold.
• Made sure foot hold only has posts with a foot or feet holding something. (The posts that would instead only fit holding own foot or holding another's foot were removed from foot hold)
• When foot hold is between toes, added between toes.

Update:

Based on the distinction decided above, I also split the applicable posts between tail hold, holding own tail and holding another's tail.

I restored the tail_grab tag he just nuked.
Stop vandalizing tags.
