Whenever the site is down for maintenance, there's a link to the Twitter for status updates, but last time I checked(yesterday), the link led to a twitter account that didn't exist. What's up with that?
And...
When I click on upload, there's a list of pictures that are prohibited to upload to danbooru, one of which is "Guro"
But why are there still guro pictures on this site?

A lot of the extreme guro pictures on this site are old, and I don't think anyone goes around to actively delete them. I think that mild guro pics are allowed, but anything excessive is prohibited.

Ah, that makes sense. I guess the same could be said for everything else of the prohibition list on the uploads page. Even so, "excessive" is subjective.

Spirit of the law is basically an authorized and subjective interpretation, along with anything that allows discretion. Things like zero tolerance try not to be subjective, but pure objectivity is a lot worse I think.
