If it's ambiguous why the hell would you make it an alias when there was already a pending rename bur?

Because it couldn’t go through. The alias was already done and needs to be removed.
Actually in a long way: alias sylphy_(stacc) -> sylphy made the rename fail at any approval, so the alias has to be removed. Regardless, the name should’ve been reverted to how it was before, so I decided to go ahead and then request the removal of the alias.
In a single BUR this would’ve been:
unalias sylphy_(user_nngk5244) -> sylphy
rename sylphy -> sylphy_(user_nngk5244)
But the previous BUR didn’t take this into account. Right now, the name is back to normal. The only thing that needs to be done is the removal of the alias.
