What is up with approvers and nyantcha. I kid you not 8th or 9th time I’ve uploaded this artist and each and every single time it’s hit by disapproval after disapproval and there’s literally no quality drop from the other posts but it doesn’t get approved until the last day or officially brought up. Hell once I uploaded one where a contributor uploaded a textless version after and the post I uploaded went unapproved for days.

This image still has a good amount of time left in queue, wait a few days and see if it gets approved

Can someone take another look at this Gwen posts? Looks pretty ok

Can you stop adding the disapproval count, it does nothing except make yourself look worse.

Also, you've been here a while, yet almost every post of yours here is basically the same story: some are fine but overlooked, other have various issues that you somehow failed to spot despite it "looking good" to you. Asking for feedback is fine, but there comes a point where it's just wasting approver's time.

People, me included, are more inclined to answer builders asking for feedback as they're more likely to take the advice to heart, so please show us that you're actually trying this. As I said, some of your posts definitely are fine and just got overlooked, so at least try appealing and analyzing the posts further before asking here.

Okay sure, ignore all the other times people included the disapproval count and come at me, sure, why not

And I was trying to ask what was wrong with the image as there was only 12 approvers looking at it so I added that count cuz I was curious as to why

I don't see what the problem is given that they've all been approved eventually. Sometimes it takes the right approver to see it and that includes even after it's been deleted. There are also other chances for it to get approved outside of the three days in the modqueue such as an appeal, a deep dive into deletions to see if there's anything worth undeleting and upon being checked for a promotion. Try relaxing a little - it worked for me when I was stuck in the modqueue and I eventually figured out what worked.

You shouldn't call attention to posts in bulk like this, preferring instead to appeal ones that you think look good enough to be active and worth a second review. Some of these don't look good and might incline someone to flag the ones that are active. It's also not really that accurate, given post #9988459 was flagged due to bad anatomy but appears in the search results because post #9988460 and post #9988471 are active child posts, notwithstanding that it should probably be pooled anyway.

Looks pretty weird, I don't like the rightmost view of the character. The attempt to emphasize the lower body here resulted in the upper body looking detached, as if someone opened a 3D modeling program and dragged it across a horizontal axis some.

As I told unrecognized taste in forum #442994 about their translation topic bumps, the same applies for you - you happen to be one of the users who posts the most in this topic, so when you do it, it's going to be noticed more. I'm not entirely of the same opinion that you need to stop adding it, however I don't think there's any use to including the number of approvers who looked at your post because it might be what skews some of your thinking in regards to an approval. Additionally, if people see a builder doing it, they might learn the wrong lessons and start copying you, which is why you're being told this instead of someone else.

One of the reasons it's hard to give you feedback specifically, besides the volume at which you post in here, is that it feels as though you aren't using feedback, disapproval messages or your own deletions to constructively build upon your ability to analyse your own posts for what might be striking negatively with approvers (e.g. anatomy issues).

Almost all your posts you say "looks good" and appeal with "may need another chance" (which you already give it by appealing), and I can understand having a bias towards your own posts' quality, but you also need to be able to fight through that bias and recognise when it's not that good. Being able to be critical of your own quality control is also an important part of becoming a Contributor if that's your aim, not just having a low amount of recent deletions.

I can't promote you if I can't trust that you won't just immediately dump posts with noticeable issues or poor quality upon giving you the privilege to skip the modqueue.

Could I get some feedback on these?
And just wondering-does typical anime style get a free pass way easier than western cartoon styles here? It feels like some western art still manages to pass the quality check, though. Honestly, I pretty love the hybrid art style that sits right in between the two.

We are an anime imageboard first and foremost, so yes.

But the problem here isn't the hybridisation of art styles, it's the proportions.
Things like very wide hips or huge butts and chests have a harder time since we hold those to a higher quality standard.

Ah, that makes sense. Taiger's art definitely leans heavily into exaggerated proportions. I guess I was too focused on the coloring and facial expressions to notice the anatomy standards. Thanks for clarifying!

About that, you said huge butt or large breast tend to less approved, so most art that get approved immediately is general rating? With no cleavage showing? And what makes uploads get general rating? Because i upload what i thought is rated general after read help:upload but somehow rating changes to sensitive and some approver tend approve general rated upload most of time
Care to explain to me?
Thank in advance

I know I didn't say "flagging" in my post, but I think the flagging of bad active posts is a completely acceptable outcome.
Theres like maybe 5 cases where the textless_version status:active parent:deleted / textless_version status:deleted child:active makes sense.
