This artist is registered under this alias on most of their social media platforms. This can help make them more recognizable or easier to identify.
@SidBarrett we pick the visible display name as main tag name. The handle at best would be an utility alias towards the display name.

'87gi' is the name the artist goes by on all of their accounts (Twitter, Pixiv, R11R creator page etc.) and is included in their signature when signing artwork (post #10426617 on the glove for example).
The only instance of '87yanagi' I could find, was the handle of their now-deleted Skeb account.
