Not even all approvers are active, roughly under half of them simply don't care for much outside of a specific art style or their personal favorites, and their reasons for something being of "poor quality" are very often vague and ill-defined unless you make them explain what they take issue with in the uploads.
None of the images I uploaded from different artists were approved save for one of them, and if this keeps up, the amount of images I would be able to upload would continually shrink.
You really do play roulette with what will and what won't be approved on this site with at best distant approvers and at worst vague and inconsistent approvers.
Yeah, this unfortunately. Truth nuke

This is still not approved even though it’s decent enough
post #11126442 So I probably will just take the advice and upload from another artist since it's 20 disapprovals now, but I am curious what exactly is considered "low quality". Mostly because I have posted and been approved so far for posts that are a lot more plain or simplistic or to me what is similar quality. Is there something more to deal with how the background is? Seems vague to me.

I am not the one who hit LQ on that, but I skipped it because the face + legs look off to me.
Hi,
I made my account fairly recently to add a couple of posts from an artist who didn't have a tag yet. Out of the 4 initial uploads I did (all for the same artist), 3 of them were approved, while one (post #11121529) was deleted.
Would it be okay if I asked about the rationale? If I had to guess, it's either that the image quality isn't high enough or a reviewer took issue with the captions — both of which are from the original image. I guess I'm mostly just confused why the other posts were approved if this one wasn't.
Hello, any feedback on why these posts weren't approved? Please give a second chance:

Don't see what's wrong with these personally, may need another chance

This is really a huge gripe of mine concerning this sites. As a great Fan of FGO Ishtar and other Fate characters. I often find out that many of the Ishtar arts that I consider high qualities are rejected by “Approvers who think they are of poor quality.” One of the reasons that I find it unacceptable,is that for post #11131645. The approvers said that they would skip through it only because “It is just cropped version of a preexisting art.” However, that cropped image was supposed to be a set with the other image in the original Pixiv post. If that image managed to stay on the site for years, then so should post #11131645. At least it is what I think. In addition,I also consider these being nice quality, but are not approved as fast as other uploads:

If I have other major gripe on the approvals. It is probably: Some approvers seemed to be too fixated on some trivial errors that are otherwise acceptable to the uploaders.
For instance,an uploaded might upload a piece of art that he/she considered “High Quality.” Sometimes, the art might have some anatomical errors. However, from my point of view, some arts deserves to get a stay on the site despite the errors,as long as the overall quality is good, they should be approved rather than being deemed “Low/Poor quality” due to the slightest error.

I don't understand why you believe post #11131645 should be approved. It's simply an inferior version of an already existing post and you did not give a good reason on why we should approve it. If you had posted this before the parent post was uploaded, I would have approved it.
This thread is meant for feedback on posts that got deleted, but you have listed posts that are currently pending. Some even got approved.

Quality is noticeably worse on that one.

Maybe next time, try giving an actual flag reason instead of just "no!".

I am probably just quite straight/simple minded. In which if I think the quality meets the site’s standard, then I would upload it and hope it could be approved. I just officially joined the site this year, for the parent post of post #11131645. I was initially baffled about why didn’t the original uploader uploaded both pictures of the Pixiv posts. I thought the person in question might just forgot to upload the second one,so I uploaded it. And my reason for why the post should be approved is that despite it has lower resolution, the overall quality still fits the standard quite well even if it is an inferior version.
As for other posts. This part is probably my personal anxiety is at play,as I has a fear that “Those posts that did not get approved in the first few hours might mean they would not last longer than the 3 day queue.”

There's no point in uploading images that can easily be replicated from the superior version. It adds nothing of value for us.
Sometimes, a user will upload a pixel-perfect duplicate of an existing post. These uploads may technically meet quality standards despite being exactly the same as another post. Do you think those should be approved, too?
Also, topic #35275.

I understand it can be nerve-wracking wondering if your post will get approved when it's been in the queue for a while, but that's something you'll have to deal with on your own. Asking about non-deleted posts here will just waste the Approvers' time and make it harder for them to review your posts and others'.
Also, it's important to remember that this site is driven entirely by volunteers on their own time, so some inconsistency in approval speed is to be expected.

Any help with post #11062761 and post #11062766 ?
They're animated versions of posts which have already been approved.

What? It's just a blank scratch with bad anatomy? Are we talking about the same object?

This is not what this thread is for. Also you're wrong.
