Would like to ask on here, what everyone's opinion on the colored_horns tags like black horns and colored tails like purple tail, should we get rid of them? Cuz for tails, they are mostly the characters hair color, need others opinions on this

I think the color_horns tags are good tags; I use them and I can see myself searching them. I cannot say the same of the color_tail tags, but at the same time they don't feel like as big a waste as some other tags I could name. I would meh a BUR to nuke them.
tl;dr: horns good, tails whatever
For context: this topic exists because I confronted the author today about why they were removing and edit warring (example) black horns off of posts of characters that literally had black horns, and their response was "I don't like the tag so I removed it" (paraphrased the spirit of the reply). The proper way to settle dislike of a tag's existence is to forum up, not remove what's already an established tag just because you don't like it. I also learned that this isn't the first time either through that confrontation, but the author already has an established habit of edit warring tags and wikis that hasn't seriously been addressed yet.
What's missing from the OP is that they already have a strong opinion about this in that they don't think the tags should exist, but its written using neutral phrasing as if they don't already have an opinion about it.
For me: I'm meh about tails colours, I think shapes like eastern dragon tail are cooler to search. Horns seem more significant to me and something people will probably remember a character by; and it's good for if you can't put a name to a face but remember some vague details about the way the character looked.

I didn't say "I don't like the tag so I removed it", I just felt it was unneeded

I don't really see the point of having either.
do you see the point in black hair and purple eyes

Apples and oranges. Hair and eyes are two of the most important features of a person. Meanwhile, just because something has a color doesn't mean it needs to be tagged - we don't have white_shoelaces, for example. So far, the consensus seems to be horns are ok but few people are interested in the tail tags.
Horn color tags (like all color tags) seem to suffer a lot from the default being ignored. white horns is missed a lot on cow horns, orange horns is missed on troll (homestuck) etc... It doesn't make them useless, but it does make it hard to find specific colored horns when the results are going to typically be exceptions to their expected shape.

shoelace color isn't as important as horn/tail color
there is a big difference between a demon with black tail (dark type), purple tail (succubus type) or red tail (hell type). since most of them will have these 3 colors, that's also an argument for allowing more exotic colors to be searchable
obviously same horns

Hair colour is usually one of the best way to find a character you need to look up, eye colour slightly less but it helps to narrow it down when combined with the above since the vast majority of characters will have eyes and hair.

I was not talking about demons with those features, I meant like kemonomimis, basically, every picture of purple tails you search, it'll most likely be Nekomata Okayu, or striped tails being filled with Ju Fufu, also horns work on other kemonomimi's like dragon girls
to add on to this, succubi don't always have purple tails

Your narrow bias is showing. striped_tail -ju_fufu is nearly the count of the entire striped tail tag. Can't say things without backing them up.
