I can't add an artist, because I'm limited to 3-second searches?

Hello. Very confused here.

Every time I try to create an artist entry for tegoart, and put these links on:

https://www.instagram.com/tego.art
https://x.com/TeGoArt
https://www.fiverr.com/tegoart
https://www.deviantart.com/tego-art

It fails, and the page says it's because I'm limited to searches that are up to 3 seconds long. I don't even understand how this is relevant. I have now failed to create this page at least ten times, no exaggeration.

The issue is Member-level users are limited on all actions that require 3 or more seconds of database time. Evazion mentioned on Discord that the database is choosing a bad query plan for the artist duplicate detection, which would be affecting your ability to create/update artists. I'm not sure how easily/soon this issue will get fixed if it even can be.

When you create an artist entry, the site does a search to see if any of those links are in use by any other artists, and for technical reasons this search is taking longer than expected here. I'm looking into it.
