Feature/Suggestion Inquiry: Wiki Editing Notes

Posted under Bugs & Features

I apologize if this has already been discussed elsewhere over the years, but I'm just curious if anyone has strong thoughts about a being able to type notes alongside your wiki edits to give them more context and/or explain the reasoning behind them? I guess it'd be equivalent to the "view history" tab on Wikipedia or "history" in Bulbapedia, where along with who changed what you can read the notes left behind that usually explain the reasoning why the editor made such a change. There's been some edits I've made in the past that I've wanted to give more transparency behind them.

The feature felt like a strange omission. But then I figured Danbooru editors are the type who would use such a space to go on diatribes about their problems with random tags, post lamentations on how their life has led to clarifying the specific type of furry a porn character is, and have passive aggressive edit wars.

Think if a user ends up abusing a feature like that it warrants at least a negative feedback or two, same as anything else unwarranted.
