Interracial is for real-life races, interspecies is for humans and other humanoids, such as elves.

Elves are humans with pointy ears for our purposes. Don't overthink this.
Relating to the thread, the interspecies wiki uses Arcee (Prime) as an example of Mecha which given the mecha wiki doesn't seem to be correct so I removed it.

Arcee is sentient. She is fine here.

I meant specifically the tag given was mecha which explicitly states it’s piloted.

So interracial for himmel x frieren, or since both seem white adjacent its just tag bloat?

neither. not interspecies because what evazion said, and not interracial because they have the same skin color.

Makes sense!

Which is why I changed it to humanoid robot, though the overlap between it and mecha can sometimes be blurry. I'd imagine most mecha fans consider Transformers mecha despite them also very much being people.
It also actually says "piloted and/or giant", by the way...
Either way, the example was fine, if the issue was mecha specifically you should have just changed the wording instead of removing the example entirely.
