Should there be a tag for making pornography

Posted under General

Our current tagging for pornography is around references to pornographic media in an illustration. But should we have a tag when characters are making a porn video? Like with an actual porn set, camera team and similar? Or even just low budget pornography, with a limited set and phone cameras.

For example post #9786829 rating Q.

One of my favourite genre of tags to look at or make is one's involving actions. Though this isn't something I'd look at or populate myself for other reasons, I don't see why it shouldn't be a tag if it's a taggable concept. I imagine there's some doujin about this idea too.

i don't see why not. the question is how exactly to define such a tag, i'm assuming not everything in recording is:nsfw would automatically count. would it only be scenes where a set is clearly visible and/or the characters specifically mention making pornography, or, on the other end of the spectrum, would a simple solo shot the likes of post #7093259 count?

I personally think the relationship nudes / nude selfie level is a bit too vague unless they explicitly say "got to make content for my fans" or if the person is talking to an audience.

I would say post #8767763 (E) or post #9724104 (E) are the minimum threshold for that composition to be under this hypothetical tag.

Also what would be a good tag name? Pornography production?

i'm fine with the line being "there is a set visible, or there is intended or current interaction with a shown or implied audience". beyond that it probably gets too vague as to whether it's actually pornography or just a personal photo.

the name could be either pornography production or making pornography, unless someone comes up with something better.

I like pornography production myself as well. I also agree with that line, ill probably put together a favgroup at some point taking this into consideration.

I will be a bit liberal on the definition on "set", basically anything looking like a casting couch or common AV set up should probably be fine.

I think having some form of equipment visible (like at the very least a smartphone or something around that level) should be a minimum though.
There are plenty of S rated (and even a few G rated) posts under rei no pool where it's just a character posing. I'm not sure if mass updating them all too add pornography production is the right course here.

I put in anything that involved film crews, intentional live streaming, and stuff that gave the vibe of being produced generally as porn. If anything seems out of place let me know, ill clear it up before a BUR.

From a cursory glance, the only post I might have an issue with is post #8868291; it just seems like a nude selfie to me. Everything else is fine.

Fair enough, I went by knowing those characters are livestreamers to add them, but it's not obvious without being familiar with the series. Removed it.

From the title, I was hoping there was a tag for artist characters drawing, writing, or animating porn, but this is fine too

Much of pool #9514 would fall into a tag like that, methinks.

Could probably broaden that to be called 'doujinshi production', since doujins aren't strictly pornographic despite the popular English use of the term.
