I'm not even remotely qualified to comment on approving posts or on art, so here's my two cents' worth of opinion: the highly saturated background is fatiguing to look at. It mutes the colors of the foreground and makes it hard to recognize the characters from a thumbnail-sized preview.

I agree that it's very preferential, but mamimi is a rather popular artist with a lot of approved works, so I assumed there's an audience. Although this time one of the reviewers considered this poor quality, which is why I'm cautious of appealing. Same with the other post (well, a different artist and a different preference, but also one poor quality remark). Maybe someone could confirm or explain it here, so that I know what to look out for in the future

The approver who gave poor quality remark probably just did not like its rendering style. For fetishes like this, the number of approvers who will even look at them is small, so maybe you post just missed them. Try appealing like Jyuu said. There's hope since mamimi_(mamamimi) bestiality status:all shows the majority of them were approved.
As for your second post, the lines are shaky and may give the impression of poor quality. That said, the same artist has posts approved with even messier linework. Another factor is the skintone looks off. Could be the artist's intention, but still. Finally, comparing to their approved drawings, the shading is on the simpler side.
I think this one is very beautiful, any idea why it wasn't approved?

yeah i saw that, thanks, i know there are tons of people uploading pics here, but i was a bit frustrated cause you get silence here, its basically "send pic, pic gets rejected, no reason why, appeal, pic gets approved, still no reason why" so its hard to improve or change anything, you know what i mean? a really short comment could be the difference like "hands look off, colors too saturated, torso too long"

Yeah, I agree. Just "disinterest" could imply that post wasn't approver's taste, but a extra reason for disapproval is good for improve the choice about what post and tagging. I did a similar comment in this page: forum #371419

The animation is kind weird because of 3D, looks like these animations made with static images. Ex: post #9256867
But I think it's okay, you could try to appeal. Explain a reason for your post being approved (like style or another reason).

Right? like i said, even something small, any hint to guide you, it seems most of the times it goes down to "did the person who saw it, like it? no? then you are not approved"
